Poornima or Full Moon day of every month
Poornimas are celebrated with devotion, enthusiasm and aplomb. On this day, special alankara to the Lord Veeraprathapa Anjaneya Swami is done after mahabhishekha.
The abhishekha water is then added to the water and the devotees are bathed by Guruji by this water, holding the Lord’s Gadha or goad on their heads. This practice, mooted by the Sadhguru, decreed that the holy water used to bathe the Lord when poured upon oneself, is blessed to rid one’s ills and bring good tidings thereafter. Devotees throng to avail this blessing in hordes on this day. The kshetra, on this day, sports a festive atmosphere.
